Introduction:
The Beijing Haidian Shangli Foreign Language School (SFLS)， a full-time international boarding school, was founded in 1993. As one of the best private schools in China, it has been approved and recognized by the Beijing Municipal Government. Our school has a 70,000 square-meter campus that is located just north of the beautiful Xian Shan Park and is only 5 kilometers from the center of Beijing.

Chinese Course:
The elementary and intermediate classes last for half or one whole year. The courses taught include Chinese speaking, reading, listening, writing, physical education, computing, and HSK preparation．Professional teaching materials and specialized teaching methods are used.
Chinese Diploma Course:
For students who have already passed HSK level 3, there is the opportunity to enter the Chinese students’ class. Foreign students who want to study at Beijing University must pass the HSK with at least a level 6. This exam includes the following areas of study, all of which are taught in the courses at SFLS: mathematics, foreign language, Chinese, and related curriculum. Foreign students will receive a diploma from SFLS after completion of these courses. And we can give foreign students all information about Chinese universities. Foreign students can use our diploma applied any Chinese university they wants to study. We do help foreign students choose suitable university and course, send recommendation letters to the university which they applied.

We look after every student, while letting each one arrange his or her own academic plan. Through careful instruction, students are taught responsibility and are given the skills needed to be able to manage themselves.

Foreign students’ dormitories consist of a shared bedroom with a private bathroom. Air conditioning, refrigerator, hot water, water dispensers, and a desk are provided. Health and basic medical care are available at the school clinic. Laundry, security, and phone services are also available.

1. The application form is available from the school recruitment office or may download from our website (www.shanglischool.com). Please full in the application honestly, and sign as indicated. Application for fall semester must be received before the 30th of July. Applications for the spring semester must be received before 15th of January. 2. The applicant may hold Admission notice, <>, << Foreigner physique check form >> to China in the local embassy transact the student (X) visa or (F) visa. Student studies half year above, must transact “X” visa.
